Dedication Ceremony
Dedication of a new lectern and baptistery by the Arch Deacon of Durham The Venerable Ian Jagger. In memory of the late Elsa Naitby made possible by a bequest to the parish from her estate.
Also, Rededication of the stained glass windows, from the west end of the church. The windows have been hidden from view for the last 20 years, after the addition of the church centre, and, the installation of the organ gallery.
The windows which were designed by stained glass artist Stan Scott, have been repositioned in the south west side of the nave, to compliment the new baptistery area and font.
